We are a law firm not a law factory. That means you receive all the power and resources you’d expect at a large firm, while working with a purposely smaller law firm to get the best possible representation. Unlike other firms, your case will not be handled by a junior attorney or a paralegal. Steve Watrel will personally represent you. We believe that gives our clients the best chance at the results they deserve.
Our firm was established in 1993 by attorney Steve Watrel, a former attorney at one of Jacksonville’s largest law firms. Steve wanted to bring the large firm experience to people who wanted a superior, senior-level attorney but didn’t want the large firm baggage. As an attorney, Steve has worked on many cases including:
If you’ve been injured or lost a loved one in an accident or through someone else’s carelessness, we can help. Contact us to set up a free consultation about your case. There is no obligation.

Attorney Steve Watrel refuses to rest on his laurels. Steve constantly makes sure that he is one step ahead of defense attorneys.
Steve has a strong commitment to his community. The firm takes pride in working alongside local charities with the goal of helping those in need.

Steve Watrel, P.A Proven Approach to Fighting Elder Abuse:
The first action taken is to understand your loved one and acknowledge them as an individual and a person that matters. Through an interview and discovery process, Steve and his team will come to know your loved one’s story and understand how your family is being impacted. The common vision the team has is to uncover the truth and identify those responsible. The team comprises of medical experts, forensic accountants and legal professionals.
Next, a team led by Steve will be assembled to document all of the needed evidence to prove your case. This is important because evidence in these types of cases often gets destroyed. We will fight to obtain records and ensure all evidence (physical, electronic, and testimonial) is preserved to obtain the best possible outcome. Rest assured, that Steve retains the team of experts as early as possible choosing only the best in the country that work in the field. Most have over 30 years of legal experience and are seasoned experts authored on the area of their expertise.
Attorney Steve Watrel prepares every nursing home abuse case as if it’s going to trial. Along the way, you as the client are intimately involved in the entire process and active in each decision.
